La música y la educación en valores

        La música es un vehículo idóneo para trabajar los valores. Según Alonso, Pereira y Soto (2003) la música es un instrumento educativo para la expresión de valores y sentimientos. Herrera (2007) considera que desde la educación musical podemos elaborar un marco de actuación idóneo para trabajar aspectos como la libertad, autonomía personal, autoestima, honestidad, felicidad, espíritu crítico, igualdad, solidaridad, pluralismo, cooperación, amor, creatividad… 

       
    Nostros proponemos la actividad de Disco-fórum, donde escucharemos una canción que trabaje el tema de los valores y se realizará una audición y un análisis de la letra y un posterior debate guiado sobre la cación. Todo ello fomentará en intercambio, la expresión y la reflexión. Las canciones seleccionadas para la actividad deben de motivar a los niños, se debe de tener en cuenta sus gustos, sus preferencias musicales y conocer a los artistas actuales que pueden interesarles, ya que ellos son los protagonistas de su propio aprendizaje, y será más fácil que aprendan y participen de este modo.
